Paintings on wood again, you must really be curious to have got this far :).
So the monkey portrait was the first image painted on a 70x50 cm panel. There were 2 more paintings that followed both featuring a monkey, very similar to the 2nd image with a monkey, the monkey in a similar position, different colours, that tiny bit of a background had a different shape as well, it was a single arch rather than a space divided into 3 naves. For some reason I don't have a photo of that painting. I no longer have the portrait of that monkey, I gave it to a friend of mine at that time. I have the rest
of the images though.
And then came the lion, followed by the lioness. And that's where I stopped, I had planned a series of hedgehogs but it never came to happen. Maybe one day...
