Paintings on wood - 2

More painting on wood, 14 of them this time. What makes me group these together is the size of the support, they have been painted on some very old dry bits of wood, panels that were part of the doors for some cupboards I was told. Really nice wood to prime and paint on. All panels were identical size. Acrylic and gold leaf (well, not proper gold leaf but a cheaper alloy with a small percentage of gold). The leaf has been protected with an initial layer of shellac.

All paintings have been varnished with another layer of varnish after having been finished.
Most of these images are about the man and the flower. Not all of them, there is one called "2 Brothers" - the one with 2 dudes and 2 lion cubs.

The image on the right was meant to have some sort of a depiction of a carcass, failed to paint a proper carcass. So far for painting some stuff...
And the poetry ended, so here came the fish and the bait, and some portraits. Again.
